Biocode offers online solutions for climate smart food. Biocode impact allows food companies to track and improve the climate impact of their products.
Biocode was born from our founders, the Association of ProAgria Centres‘ and Mtech Digital Solutions’, desire to seek solutions to decarbonise food production, which is crucial if we are to reverse global heating.
Our roots are in Finland, in the land of “sisu” and innovations. Producing food in harsh climate conditions near the Arctic circle has required sisu – persistent determination and courage in face of significant challenges. Attaining a sustainable food system, led by digital transformation and technological development, has always been perceived as a collective task here in the North, to which the entire food chain needs to participate. This legacy defines us to this day.
Biocode exists to boost the transition to climate smart food production and consumption. We support food brands on their journey to carbon neutrality, and in the process, we create value for the entire food value chain.
