Offsetting your carbon footprint is a way to take control of your emissions, and commit to living sustainably.
The big idea behind carbon offsets is that if you emit a ton of CO2, you can balance out those emissions by removing a ton of CO2 from the atmosphere or by preventing another ton of CO2 from entering the atmosphere.
In other words, if you take a flight that emits 1 ton of CO2, you can neutralize that impact by planting the right amount of trees. You could plant and take care of those trees yourself, or you can have us handle it for you.
